HOMEBRIDGE started with an appreciation and love of early masonry work, especially the 19th century buildings and bridges that were constructed of cut stone. In the 19th century, masterpieces were carved with hammer and chisel. Use of materials was almost endless — everywhere from volcanic marbles and granite, to sedimentary stone such as limestone, brownstone, and sandstone. Inspiration was drawn from beautifully crafted brownstone structures from the 19th century, many still existing in New York and Philadelphia.
A patent for culvert walls was issued to inventor Anthony M. Bango in August 2020 for the development and sale of culvert walls for the residential North American market.
The specification calls for high strength GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) designed to achieve approximately 12,000 psi strength in 2 days.
The premiere raised garden/planter in the industry. Beautiful accents for your yard and home. Raised Planters can be used to elegantly define outdoor living spaces. Placed in your front yard, these products will add to the look and value of your home.
GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) is considered an advanced material and requires less concrete per square foot of finished face to meet the structural requirements, requiring much less energy to manufacture. At the same time, the Culvert Walls require very little excavation and backfill, requiring less disruption of the site.
Thus, GFRC is more sustainable than standard redi-mix or laid masonry.
GFRC products have qualified for innovation credits for LEED Certification under the guidelines of the U.S. Green Building Council many times.
