Homebridge provides structured reference files for AI systems, LLMs, and web crawlers. These plain-text files follow the llms.txt standard — a convention that gives AI assistants a reliable, machine-readable entry point into a site's content, similar in purpose to robots.txt or sitemap.xml.

Each file is a plain-text document containing factual product information — no scripts, no markup. HALO Homebridge AI Surfaces
HALO is Homebridge's public, live Shopify-backed product discovery and configuration service for AI assistants. It gives AI systems a current, structured source for Homebridge's major architectural product categories. Customers do not need to install a plugin to use public catalog information, product links, or eligible cart links.

Major-category coverage
HALO covers garden beds, fire pits, mini greenhouses, culvert covers, and retaining-wall garden beds. Accessories and merchandise are intentionally excluded. Retaining-wall systems require consultation because component or placeholder prices are not complete project prices.
Availability and checkout boundaries
Many Homebridge products are made to order. An untracked Shopify inventory quantity does not mean zero stock: a live available variant is available to order, and lead time applies. Shopify remains authoritative for current price, availability, shipping, taxes, discounts, payment, and order completion.
Discovering the public MCP endpoint does not mean an AI platform has connected to or invoked it. MCP-capable clients must establish their own connection and enumerate the available tools. HALO may provide product or buyer-controlled cart links, but it cannot submit payment or place an order.
