The HomeBridgePC Driving Mandrel is the precision installation tool that makes the Garden Retaining Wall System fast, accurate, and consistent. Without it, driving ground pipes to a uniform depth by eye is guesswork — posts end up at different heights and the finished wall looks uneven. The mandrel solves that entirely.
How It Works
Slip the mandrel over the top of a 1" Schedule 40 galvanized ground pipe before driving. As you hammer the pipe into the soil, the mandrel's machined shoulder contacts the top of the GFRC post when the pipe has reached the correct depth — giving you an automatic, tactile stop signal. Every pipe goes to the same depth. Every post sits at the same height. Remove the mandrel, move to the next post location, repeat.
Why It Matters
The mandrel is not optional for a professional-quality result. It protects the top of the pipe from mushrooming during driving, maintains pipe concentricity, and eliminates depth variation across your entire wall run. One mandrel installs an entire wall — you only need one per crew.
